    British humor at its finest!

    "Keeping Up Appearances " was a British comedy TV show from around 1990. If you are a fan of British humor, enjoy this series. You will always remember Mrs. Bucket answering the phone saying, "Bou-quet residence, lady of the house speaking!" She came from a lower class family but puts on airs to appear to her middle class neighbors as wealthy, to their total aggravation. We were in stitches watching this gem. Well done!!

    Let's watch "Hyacinth".

    Great series - Roy Clarke really knew how to make a good show, and they really DON'T make them like they used to. (Ugh, old enough to say that now.) The packaging and presentation itself is good--not the best, as the DVDs popped off a little too easily--but overall, not at all detrimental to the show itself. You will be rolling your eyes at this woman more often than not and wondering why in the world poor Richard doesn't just run off with Elizabeth.

    My wife and I watched this series on BBC and enjoyed it, so when I saw it for sale I couldn't resist, she is just as funny now as then.

    Complete set very happy I finally purchased. Dvd box doesn't hold disc's quite tight during shipping but undamaged.
