Great Video; Bad case.

As most have said the show looks great on Blu-ray. I enjoy both the old special effects and the new CGI effects. It's nice to be able to choose which I want to watch depending on my mood. Some reviewers complained about an icon appearing on the screen whenever an alternate version of a scene was available. That does sound annoying but fortunately I never saw an icon. Perhaps they had a different disk set or it was something to do with their Blu-ray player???

Also, as most have said the case is pretty cheap and it is sometimes difficult to remove a disk -- there's probably trick to getting the hub to release easily but I never figured it out. I was afraid was going to break disks when removing them (I think one reviewer had that happen). The case has 12 positions so with 20 disks some have to be stacked. My solution was to get jewel cases. Will 20 jewel cases ultimately turn out be a hassle? Time will tell.

A Must Watch series for Star Trek fans. Where it all began.

When Star Trek came out, it was the most talked about TV series. It was so cool and in color! The sale of color TVs went through the roof. The cast of many colors was a TV breakthrough. Their chemistry was awesome. And Captain James T. Kirk was the brilliant, invincible leader. He's so smart, he can cause computers to self-destruct by asking them questions they can't answer. But now that I'm seeing these episodes through different (experienced) eyes, I'm marveling at what an awful commander James Kirk was. This is a fun series, some episodes are really dumb, some are great fun, but parents might consider previewing the first few episodes because some of the women's clothing. Star Trek fans will also enjoy a series currently on Amazon Prime titled "The Center Seat". It covers tons of behind-the-scenes stuff about the show.
