    A bold claim, considering shows like "Get Smart", "Are you being served", "Maude" "Man about the house" and "George and Mildred" are legendary and still enjoyable decades on. But the difference here is that this boxed set holds up to repeated viewing. This is a master class of comedy writing, and the actors are just perfect. And every season is as strong as the other. Even the last season 8 shows are as good as the classic season 2 and 3 episodes.

    I really can't say anything about Three's Company that hasn't already been said. DVD's are great and all play fine. I am tired of having to buy the same show over and over and over just to get the extra extra. Then a month later you can buy just the extra on its own. But you don't know this until you have already bought the same show again. Still. Having the whole sha-bang in one set is nice. I was not a big fan of Three's a Crowd. Vicki was totally wrong for Jack. Her mom and dad nearly ruined the show. Just my opinion. The Ropers was ok. All in all, these shows were (are) better than just about anything on tv today. But I'm old and what does it matter anyhow.
